Alba Constanza Munoz was born in Colombia and her background includes a bachelor’s degree in bacteriology at Pontifical Xavierian University in Bogota, Colombia, after which she worked as director and owner at CMunoz laboratories in Cali, Colombia until 2000 when she moved to Florida.
In 2001, she became an esthetician and massage therapist and worked at Applewoods Spa in Weston, FL until 2009. In 2004, she became board certified by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) as a Lab Supervisor in Microbiology, Serology, Clinical Chemistry, Molecular Pathology, Immunohematology, and Hematology.
She worked as president and supervisor of her own medical laboratory, CMLab, in Pembroke Pines until 2009.
After more than twenty years in the health care field, she decided to dedicate her career full time to aesthetics by working at Nature’s Healing Touch in Weston until 2012. Afterward, she began working at her current employer, Hollywood Dermatology, as the esthetician in the West Miramar office. In addition to conventional treatments of aesthetics, she has been trained to perform CoolSculpting, photodynamic therapy, and medical peels. She has also participated in international medical missions.
After almost five years of being a part of Dr. Anna Falabella’s team, she has gained an array of knowledge and experience as well as the motivation to work with integrity, compassion, and commitment.
