Mariam Borges, PA-C

Mariam Borges, PA-C was born in Cuba and came to the United States at the young age of 1. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Florida International University, and she continued her studies at FIU where she received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Mariam is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice and prescribe in the State of Florida.

Prior to PA school, Mariam found her love for dermatology when she became a Medical Assistant for a dermatology office. After PA school, Mariam started her career in Pediatric and Adult Dermatology. Mariam’s expertise allows her to diagnose and treat a plethora of skin conditions in patients of all ages. She takes a special interest in the treatment of acne and atopic dermatitis. She has a passion for cosmetic procedures, including laser treatments and microneedling. Mariam is consistently focused on elevating the patient experience, studying the latest procedures and advancements in dermatology.
