Fraxel Laser Repair Treatment in South Florida

What is Fraxel® laser treatment?

Fraxel® laser treatment produces thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatment in your skin, known as microthermal treatment zones. This treatment eliminates old epidermal pigmented cells. For every microthermal zone the laser targets and treats intensively, it leaves the surrounding tissue unaffected and intact. This "fractional" treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy and tighter tissue to replace skin imperfections.

What is the treatment plan?

At your initial consultation, we will determine the best treatment plan for your desired results. Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions, spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart. Following treatment, you will experience a mild sunburn sensation for about an hour and then minimal discomfort.

What can patients expect following treatment?

The skin will have a pinkish tone for 5 to 7 days. This is a normal sign that the skin is deeply healing. Swelling is minimal and generally resolves in 2 to 3 days. Results are immediate and progressive. Optimal improvement is usually visible in about 2 to 3 months.

(Google Review)
"I went to see Dr. Moore for the first time today, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Dr. Moore is not only kind, but is genuinely interested and invested in making sure he gets to the root of all of your concerns. He took the time to ask me questions, listen, and tell me what my best options were going forward. Today I felt heard, and for that I am most grateful. I feel like I finally have someone that is willing and dedicated to give me the results I want to achieve, and I am extremely grateful for his patience and graciousness." - Ruby V.
