Juvederm® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Juvederm® injectable gel is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is proven to be safe and effective for persons of color.
Radiesse® is a synthetic dermal filler made of calcium hydroxyapatite. It is used for soft tissue augmentation and to treat skin folds and wrinkles. Calcium hydroxyapatite is an inorganic substance similar to bone. No animals or animal products are used during its production, and no skin testing is needed.
