Restylane Injections, Restylane Lyft & Restylane Silk in South Florida

What are Restylane® injections?

Restylane® is a line of injectable hyaluronic acid fillers that includes Restylane®, Restylane® Lyft, and Restylane® Silk. These products are used to add volume and fullness to the skin and to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

Some of the areas that can be treated with Restylane® products include:

  • Laugh lines (the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth)
  • Lipstick lines (the area just below the nose and above the upper lip)
  • Corners of the mouth
  • Marionette lines (the area that extends downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline)

What types of Restylane® do you offer?

There are a variety of different Restylane® injection options that may be recommended depending on your needs and desired results. At Hollywood Dermatology, we offer the following types:

Restylane®

Restylane® is a gel formula that is made from hyaluronic acid and specially formulated to mimic the body’s naturally-occuring hyaluronic acid. The injectable gel helps to correct moderate to severe wrinkles or folds in the face, including laugh lines and marionette lines.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L®, is a FDA-approved injection for cheek augmentation, treating age-related mid-face contour deficiencies and moderate to severe wrinkles or folds in the face. It helps correct the natural sagging and wrinkling of the cheeks with nonsurgical injections that add volume to the cheeks and mid-face area.

Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk is designed specifically to help provide natural-looking augmentation of the lips. It is able to reduce the signs of aging in your lips by smoothing, reshaping, and plumping the lips. Restylane® lips treatment uses smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than found in other Restylane® products, making it ideal for the lips.

Restylane® Defyne is aimed at smoothing out deep laugh lines on the face. Using a combination of the gel and dermal filler, the unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane® Defyne will maintain your facial expressions’ natural look and movement.

How many treatments are needed?

Restylane® treatments have been clinically proven to provide results that last up to 18 months, with follow-up treatments as needed. Treatment results may last up to six months after a single treatment. However, because each person has different skin and facial construction, results may vary. It is best to speak with your doctor to determine the best treatment plan for you.

When will I see results from Restylane® treatment?

Restylane® products instantly add volume to help restore the youthful contours of your face, so most patients see results immediately following treatment. Speak with your doctor at Hollywood Dermatology about the specifics of what you can expect throughout your treatment process.
